Seven lab-grown diamonds hang freely from an 18k yellow gold box chain, six round brilliants graduating outward from the center, and one pear-shaped diamond at the heart of it all, pointed downward like a single falling drop. 2.80 carats total. D–E colour, VS clarity. When you move, they catch light differently every time. When you're still, they settle into something quieter, seven points of light resting at the collarbone.

The pear at the center isn't accidental. It's the moment the whole piece turns from beautiful to memorable.

On the Dangling Setting

Each diamond is individually set on a short drop, not fixed to the chain, but hanging freely from it. This means every stone moves independently, catching light from different angles as you do. It's a setting that rewards movement, which is why the Tears of Starlight looks different in every photo and even better in person.

On 18k Yellow Gold

The warm gold box chain against D–E colour diamonds creates a deliberate contrast, cold brilliance against warm metal. The box chain specifically was chosen for its flat, structured links that let the diamonds do the work without competing.
